Shakib Khan’s ‘Dorod’ to be released in September

Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan-starrer “Toofan” is being screened in theatres in Bangladesh and 20 other countries across the world. The film is also getting huge positive response from the audience.

Amid this blockbuster hit, good news to Shakib Khan’s fans is that the King Khan is coming to the theatres with a new film titled “Dorod”. According to the director Anonno Mamun, the movie will be released in theatres in September.

“Dorod” director Anonno Mamun met Shakib Khan at a hotel in Kolkata on Sunday morning. Later, he posted a picture with Shakib on his Facebook page with a caption. “Dard will be released in September. All promotional activities will start from 15 July. Our goal is to do something good in the world market along with the country. There will be something new in the promotion. There will be a big event with the Shakibians”, the caption reads.

Earlier, a one and a half minute Dorod teaser was released on the last Eid-day. Where the multifaceted Shakib Khan was seen! Sometimes he is a very shy person, sometimes a mysterious man who is not terrible! The teaser indicates that “Dorod” is a psycho thriller film.

“Dorod” is going to be a Pan Indian movie jointly produced by Bangladesh and India.

Bollywood actor Sonal Chauhan will be seen opposite Shakib Khan in the film. The movie will be released in six languages–Bengali, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.

Besides Shakib Khan and Sonal, Shahiduzzaman Salim, Payal Sarkar, Rajesh Sharma, Misha Sawdagor, Elina Shammi, Jessia Islam, Rahul Dev and others will be seen acting in different roles in the movie.
